Ξ Pen It by Hunter Ridgway is an in-depth, outlining-focused survey of fundamental and advanced elements of screenwriting each time the class is presented. The class always covers a broad spectrum of screenplay design principles and building blocks. Ξ

Except for the special, standing invitations listed below, admission to a PIBHR class, plus the accompanying In-Class Workbook, are provided to participants by invitation only.

Current undergraduate or graduate students of the University of Virginia and Southern Methodist University (SMU) may attend an online PIBHR for free with proof of enrollment/student ID. To indicate interest in taking a class, email [email protected].

Current college or university undergraduate or graduate students in the Los Angeles metropolitan area may also attend an online PIBHR class for free with proof of enrollment/student ID. To indicate interest in taking a class, email [email protected].

Participants of the most recent Austin Film Festival & Writers Conference and the London Screenwriters’ Festival may also attend an online PIBHR class for free with proof of “most-recent-event” attendance/registration. To indicate interest in taking a scheduled class, email [email protected].

Upcoming screenwriting classes - PURCHASE:

When individual invitations are proffered or standing invites are followed-up on, dates for a virtual class are set by mutual agreement. The classes are online via Zoom, and the version currently executed is a summary presentation covering the highlights of the (also free-of-charge) PIBHR In-Class Workbook and information on how to use it.

The classes tend to start at 10:30 AM Pacific (Los Angeles) Time and run for several hours with a break in the middle. To repeat: There is no charge for either the class or the accompanying Workbook.
